Transform, Don’t Conform

Transform, Don’t Conform

Transform: Every day, we are faced with choices to be either like our culture or like God.

Many times, we aren’t even aware we’re making a choice. Our culture continually feeds us its perspective through all aspects of media as well as through the people around us. If we aren’t consciously evaluating what comes into our eyes and ears, it’s easy to swallow it hook, line, and sinker. Then we find ourselves trapped, living in ways we never intended.

Transform: A Unique Perspective

Pastor Brad Thomas from Austin Ridge Bible Church talks about how this pitfall has been true throughout the centuries and how to choose something so much better! Just click the arrow to see this quick video…

Our minds are automatically filled with things from the culture around us. So to be transformed, we have to  fill our minds with God’s viewpoints and perspectives from:

  • The Bible
  • Church
  • God’s people and…
  • Their writings and…
  • Their music

Any other ideas? I’d love to hear them in the comments below.
