I’m passionate about helping people learn to enjoy a more enriched and meaningful life, as they work toward experiencing freedom from the things that hold them back.
My own path toward these goals has taken me all across America and around the globe, at first with my parents, and later following my own unique adventures.
I was born in Florida, and then moved with my dad, mom, and sister to Colorado, North Dakota, Wyoming, and Louisiana. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Texas, and then many years later, my master’s degree at Hope International University in Fullerton, California. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and currently divide my time between counseling, writing, and speaking.
My husband, John, and I have worked for more than 30 years with CRU, an international, non-profit Christian organization. In this capacity, we have lived and worked throughout New Zealand, Eastern Europe, Russia, and the United States. We have three grown children, and we happily call Austin, Texas our home.
